Our fundraising over the Christmas period has been fantastic. Donations from our Christmas performances for Diabetes UK totalled £1746.80, our non-uniform day at the end of term raised £1336.60 for Stand by Me, stamp sales for the Cedar Trust raised £70.80 and our first event for our Charity of the Year was ‘Pay to Play’ in November which raised £774.05 for the Daisy Lodge Cancer Fund for Children. The class Christmas hampers were a great success and were delivered to the dementia centre in Lisburn during the final week of term. The staff and residents at the centre were blown away by the generosity of our school and wanted their thanks formally passed on to everyone who sent in a donation/contribution. We have received several thank you cards and phone calls from the families of the residents to express how delighted everyone was with their hamper. We, as a school, would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generosity and contributions to all of the above.
