Downshire Primary School believes that extra-curricular activities make a valuable contribution to each child’s education. Our clubs programme includes a mixture of activities led by school staff and those delivered by external providers, offering pupils a wide range of opportunities to develop new skills, pursue interests and build friendships beyond the classroom.

Older pupils have the opportunity to participate in a variety of school-led activities, including Hockey, Badminton, Football, Mini Rugby, Netball, Cricket, Cross-Country Running, Cycling Proficiency, Eco Club, Book Club, STEM Club, Scripture Union and Choir.

In addition, a number of clubs are delivered by external providers and are available to pupils from Term 3 of P1 onwards. These include Coding, Football, Golf, Non-Contact Rugby, Lego, Sewing and Drama.
