Extra-Curricular Activities
Downshire Primary School considers that the Extra-Curricular activities it offers add a valuable dimension to a child’s education. Older pupils are given the opportunity to participate in the following: Hockey, Badminton, Soccer, Mini-rugby, Netball, Cricket, Cross country running, Cycling Proficiency, Gardening, Cookery, Orchestra, Scripture Union and Choir.
A number of clubs are provided by external organisations including Coding, Football, Dodgeball, Golf, Rugby (non-contact), Gaelic and Hip Hop dance. Each of these clubs require a payment at the beginning of the session. Where possible we have provided the contact details or linked up the respective website or Facebook page to allow you to explore further what they offer or to contact them directly should you have any further queries.
