Claude Monet’s Garden, Giverny, France

Monet's Water Lilies, a series of 250 paintings, were all inspired by his beautiful garden in Giverny, Normandy. He reportedly fell in love with the village when he saw it from a train window. The famous painting, The Water Lily Pond, features a Japanese bridge arching over the lily pads. He spent his last 30 years of painting being inspired by the stunning gardens and the translucent light. Claude Monet himself said: 'My garden is my most beautiful work of art.'
