While schools in Northern Ireland are closed, this list of resources may be helpful for parents and carers of primary pupils at home.
Most CCEA materials are designed for teachers delivering the curriculum in schools, including the ones listed below. However we have selected this range of resources as they include many activities that can be adapted to use at home with pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
The Northern Ireland Curriculum describes the types of learning that are most appropriate for each key stage. In school, pupils in Foundation Stage (Primary 1 and Primary 2) learn through well-planned, challenging play that develops their interests, curiosity and creativity. CCEA resources for Foundation Stage focus on how teachers can provide these types of experiences.
